The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed about the high quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance position developed sassa status check for intervention experiences a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to empower the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
